Warwick, NY- Meeco Sullivan announces the recent completion of the courtesy dock at Butler Marine. Butler Marine is situated on Battery Creek in Port Royal, South Carolina. The Meeco Sullivan timber courtesy dock accommodates watercraft from 18’ to 50’ in length.
The strict time for delivery proved challenging, but Meeco Sullivan was able to meet the delivery date to the customer’s specifications. Butler Marine needed the new docks quickly as the previous docks had suffered damage from a tropical storm. This had forced the marina to use the damaged docks, until Meeco Sullivan supplied the replacement.
Duncan O’Quinn, president of O’Quinn Marine Construction commented, “It was a pleasure working with Meeco Sullivan on this project. A storm had come through Port Royal and laid waste to the existing floats… These were invaluable to our Client as these floats served a Dry Stack facility right at the end of the summer. We contacted Meeco Sullivan and were able to get the drawings done from our requirements and had them installed in a time that our Client was happy with.”
