Meeco Sullivan announces the recent completion of the Kanapolis Lake docks, situated near the Smoky Hills River in Ellsworth County, Kansas. The State of Kansas purchased this existing marina on Kanapolis Lake with the intention of renovating the slips and fuel platform.
The final design was a collaboration between Meeco Sullivan and the State of Kansas. Thirty boat slips from the existing marina were replaced along with the fuel dock. Kanapolis Lake opted for a Meeco Sullivan galvanized steel floating dock system with new 10’x20’ and 10’x22’ covered boat slips. All of the recent additions were decked with Moisture Shield marine grade composite decking.
Being located in a small cove presented some unique variables for design and logistics, which the Meeco Sullivan team was easily able to accommodate. With a mission to deliver the best, Meeco Sullivan is proud to have partnered with the State of Kansas on this successful project.
