In February of 2022, its current owners took over with a clear vision to elevate the marina experience and create a welcoming, family-oriented destination. Soon after, the lake level dropped, and the cove surrounding the marina went dry for three years.
Even through the challenging conditions, progress continued behind the scenes. The owners partnered with Meeco Sullivan to prepare for the future of Hurst Harbor. Although the marina had existing Atlantic Meeco docks, it was time for a modern upgrade that matched the long-term vision of the property. Meeco Sullivan engineered and constructed brand-new docks, launching them a mile and a half away where water levels allowed. Each dock was built, floated, and delivered one at a time so the marina would be fully ready when the lake returned.
That time is now. Lake Travis water levels have risen significantly and are nearing normal conditions. The new Meeco Sullivan docks are in place and offer superior strength, improved stability, and a fresh, updated look. Wave attenuation surrounds the docks to cushion them from boat traffic and open-water energy, helping protect the marina for years to come.
Guests will notice more than structural upgrades. They will experience a marina that is centered around families and community. Hurst Harbor has always prioritized safe, fun, and memorable moments on the lake, and that spirit continues to guide every decision. The well-loved party platform is once again hosting gatherings, themed events, and celebrations for slip renters.
